Our new Youtube vid is all about the patina!
No leather shows this up more than Natural (undyed) Vegetable Tanned Leather.
The only thing I'd add to the vid is to note that key fobs get the most abuse... shoved in and out of pockets, bags, always being handled no matter how clean your hands, keys, pockets are! So will quickly darken down in colour tone as you can see.
