It was only 6 weeks ago when one of our Makers first time working with leather on our Tote Bag Leather Workshop had the idea of extending the leather handles on her Tote using this limited run tan leather for the bag and our firmer Italian vegetable tanned leather for the long handles.

All of our Leather Workshops are about encouraging design alongside construction and this is a great example so it was wonderful to hear this week that the Maker has now set herself up with the hand tools and chosen leather to make her own leather bags, excellent!
We were so pleased to receive and be able to share our Makers MkII finished Tote Bag, this time in Black. Note the black rivets this time and with the top rivets doubled up, whether for function or design it certainly works both ways.
We all lead such busy lives these days so I'm extremely impressed that after having made the brown leather Tote on our Workshop, our Maker has within only 6 weeks, been able to purchase the tools and hardware and most importantly also sourced a great looking leather for her Tote.... and then make it and brand it.
