It's always great when Jim sends in a pic of his most recent Leather make.
Jim learnt how to make a bag on one of my Workshops about 3 years ago and has seriously caught the 'leather making bug' which I'm of course very happy with!
Jim sent in this pic of a leather backpack he made for his daughter.
His daughter actually designed the overall look and they both took a trip to Metropolitan Leather based in Thrapston, to choose the colour she wanted for it. It’s from their Rutland softy range and as the name suggests is soft enough for a vegetable tanned leather to be pulled in at the neck opening to secure under the flap.
A lovely finished bag that I’m sure will be enjoyed for decades with its classic design.
