What do you make after your Workshop

Writer's picture: leatherworkshopdaysleatherworkshopdays

So pleased to hear that one of our first time makers with leather has got the leather bug!

Only a couple of months back Jim came along on one of our Crossbody/Messenger Bag Workshops and made this great looking bag from our Crazy Horse brown pull-up leather.

His new bag also had another admirer in his Grandson. So with the new skills learnt Jim bought a hide and some hand tools and made his first hand cut and saddle stitched Satchel for his Grandson to use as a laptop bag.

I'm especially pleased to be able to share Jim's photo as the aim of all of our leather workshop's are to give you a really good grounding in the skills required to buy, cut, construct, set any hardware, saddle stitch and burnish your finished piece so you can take it up either as a hobby or a business.

Great work sir, and I'm sure the satchel will be cherished for many years.
