**Our new Workshop is in a village next to Silverstone** By Appointment Only: Corner Barn, Home Farm Business Park, Church Way, Whittlebury, Northamptonshire, NN12 8XS Make your very own Leather Phone Pouch Sling Bag or a Belt/Bum/Sling Bag which can easily convert to a bicycle saddle bag with some simple additions to the rear of your bag if you wish. You'll be making a truly multi-useable bag that you can wear on your waist, over your shoulder or with some extra straps, easily attaches to your bicycle saddle or handle bars. Then when you're off the bike simply slide the Belt back on the bag. You can make it a single use bag just as easily if you prefer. Note: the closure hardware options are snap closure, sam browne closure or buckle closure. This is a great 'all skills' Workshop in that you'll be making using side gussets creating depth, saddle stitching, working with and setting hardware and don't forget the Belt. All of these techniques will really set you up in making a wide range of leather goods by understanding the making construction and design. On our Workshops we do not operate with pre-cut leather templates, but I do have suggested largest sizes for each style of bag and this is to ensure you will have enough time on your workshop day to actually complete your leather project. Approx sizes of the leather bag are 18cms wide, 12cms high, 5cms deep which easily fits a phone, keys, wallet or small purse. A great way of carrying your essentials around town, for active days and Festivals. For extra security you can also place the belt buckle so it's inside the bag. You'll get expert guidance and throughout your workshop you'll be cutting your leather, marking out & chisel punching out all your stitching holes, making your belt, setting hardware, waxing threads, burnishing edges and finally bringing it all together by hand stitching using a traditional leather Saddle Stitch which is a thread with a needle at each end. Don't worry at all if you're unfamiliar with the terminology as you'll be given a demo of each stage, and encouraged to practice on leather off-cuts. To Book, click “Book Now’ button. Cancellation Policy

Please read my Micro Craft Business Refund Policy. A full Refund if requested will only be issued anytime up to 14 days prior to your booked Workshop or Course date. This will effectively allow me just 13 days in which to re advertise and try and fill your cancelled and refunded space. If you realise for any reason you cannot attend your Workshop or Course date between the 13 days prior to your booked date, then I will happily work with you to arrange a mutually agreeable date to reschedule your Leather Workshop or Course. Full refunds are only issued prior to 14 days before your Workshop/Course date. Behind the scenes there is a lot of pre preparation, leather and hardware purchasing to enable running my Workshops & Courses for you, which is why I need the 14 days notice.
